On A Sunday Afternoon

After a morning of church, lunch with dear friends, and a nap for Mateo, we headed outside to enjoy the weather.  We ventured off to Jaquemins (?) Pumpkin Patch.  We went there last year to get a pumpkin and thought this year might be a little more exciting since M is older.  We enjoyed our day together as we searched for pumpkins, ate donuts, and played in corn.

These 2 pictures pretty much summarize how our "photo shoot" went.  Mateo was too busy watching everyone else and telling us he was "all done".  Last years photos were much easier to catch!

After our attempt at a photo shoot, the search for a pumpkin began...

After searching for 10 minutes through the gourds, M finally found his mini pumpkin!  He was not interested in all at the larger ones.  He was pretty proud of his mini pumpkin he picked  himself.  We know it was the best one because he did a lot of taste testing, looking and smelling of the pumpkins.  This is the only one that passed the test!

After the exhausting task of finding the perfect pumpkin, it was donuts and play for the Gracias.  The donuts were delicious!  Sweet, soft, with a little crunch.  Comparable to the donuts at the Williams County Fair.  There was a kids area to play and Mateo enjoyed playing in the box of corn.

We spent the rest of our afternoon taking a walk in a metro park.  Love this fall weather and plan to enjoy the next 4 days of 70 degree weather, too!
