Friday: Mateo and I spent the night at the Irish Festival while Jeremiah was there working. It was a warm evening with our neighbors. We were able to enjoy a cold lemonade, take in a magic show (which was nothing to write home about), and enjoy the company of our neighbors.
Saturday: We were up early and headed off to NW Ohio for family bonding. We had lunch with Gpa. Gracia, Great Gpa. Gracia, Titi & Isaiah. I really enjoy watching Great Grandpa Gracia interact with Mateo. He was also so sweet and brought Mateo a few small gifts which helped entertain Mateo during lunch. After an afternoon nap it was dinner with the whole Gracia clan! We had a nice dinner in Archbold and enjoyed the company of Jeremiah's Aunt & Cousin who were in from Texas. Sunday: After a fun but exhausting day we had some relax time at Grandma and Grandpa Jerger's house on Sunday. Mateo got to ride on the tractors with Grandpa, help pick some beans and tomatoes from the garden, play in his new sand/water table (compliments of the Gouin family), and enjoy some homemade ice cream.
And how could we forget chasing the cat Olive! He loves her and she wants nothing to do with him. Any time Mateo sees Olive he starts yelling "loliv, loliv" and chasing after her.
It was a wonderful weekend...but thank goodness for Mondays & recuperation time.
