Gabs is 2 🎉

Two years ago at this time we were eagrly awaiting for Jan. 12, Gabriella's due date.  The 12th came and went and we finally got to meet our baby girl on January 16.  Time sure does fly, and now we are ready to celebrate our sweet and spunky toddler.  

Gabriella is full of life!  She's smiley, orniary, smart, cuddly, and sees joy in all parts of life.  We call her the destroyer as she is kind of like a walking tornado.  She dumps and mixes up toys, she spills and she destroys.  However the frustrations, I can't wait to see what God turns these destroyer skills into!  An artist?  An Architect?  Or maybe she will be an athlete?  Constantly moving, climbing. She is constantly getting pulled off the kitchen table or moving a chair to climb on the counter. When I hear the sound of the kitchen chair being scooted across the floor, I know I need to hurry down and see what kind of curiosity is happening. She keeps us on our toes for sure!  Her love for babies and animals (especially cats) is so sweet.  It's amazing to see her maternal instincts as she plays with baby dolls, sees a baby out and about, or when she sees an animal.  

Favorite Phrases:

- "I hold you!" "I 'nuggle" Which is music to my ears that my sweet girl wants me to hold her

-  "Go away!" Usually being yelled at Mateo. And no, she doesn't hear it from us. Her big brother taught her this as well. 

-  "I hiding!  Hiding."  While playing hide and seek with her bubby.

-  "I love you!"

-  "Excuse me sir"

Loves to:

- climb

- sing (Holy, Holy, Holy, Jesus Loves Me, Christmas Songs, ABCs, Happy and You Know It)

- play with babies

- watch videos and look at pictures in our phones

- play without her brother

- mimic everything. We always say, monkey see monkey do, because as soon as Mateo says something, Gabs repeats the same thing

Rosie Girl, is such a blessing to our family.  I'm thankful for the two years we have watched her grow and learn, and am looking forward to so many more.  We love sweet girl.

We celebrated our sweet 2 year old with a kitty themed birthday party.  We had family surround her and shower her with love.  She enjoyed opening her presents, but mostly eating her cake and ice cream.  

Gabriella was thrilled to get to hold her baby cousin, Naya.
