G @ 9

Gabriella is such a happy girl. She's so beautiful and I know that God has big plans for this girl. She spends her days making people smile, soaking in her surroundings, adoring her brother, and trying to figure out how to keep up with Mateo! Her personality really beginning to shine. She is so smiley!  Her brother is still the one who can make her laugh the most but she will crack a grand for most people. However if she can be a little timid in new situations or around people she doesn't know well. She is not much of a snuggle bug but does love a good wrestle with her brother already! Jeremiah and I tried to find a balance between letting them play in making sure she is safe :) it is hard to stop the two of them though when they are both giggling. This gets me excited for what the future holds when she gets a little bit bigger. In the last month or two she has started to crinkle up her nose and make such adorable faces. She also will make a sniffing sound when she crinkles her nose.it is so funny. We can't get enough of it.
Within the last couple of weeks Gabriela has also started to move around a little bit more. She can go from laying down to sitting up on her own. She has also started getting on all fours and rocking a little bit. Although I am thrilled to see her developing as she should, I am not ready for this girl to move.:) I think she may give me a run for my money. Her latest enjoyment is emptying out anything that's near her. Baskets of toys, a diaper bag, my Bible study bag, anything that is close she will empty.
Gabriella would much rather finger feed herself than deal with mom and dad feeding her baby food.  But she's got a good appetite. Bath time and being around people are her favorite places to be.  She's mastered splashing water, as she thrushes her chunky legs side to side.  I also love listening to her coo, as she's in the backseat playing with her toes. Her coos and belly laughs are by far some of the most beautiful noises I've heard.
G's eyes just sparkle when she looks at you. I often find myself just soaking her in, wondering how I was the one chosen to raise this beautiful girl. Such a blessing.
This girl loves, loves, loves animals!
