COSI Family Night

Last Saturday, COSI had a special new members family night, so we decided to check it out.  There were lots of free give-ways which sucked me in, along with a free viewing of a 3D movie.  Here's a run down of our night.

Our first stop was the Early Learning activities.  Here M got to play with "gak", build a habitat for some forest friends and he painted.  Such fun!  He especially enjoyed playing with the gak and making prints in it.

Next, we listened/watched 12 year old Chef Remmi as she whipped up some yummy snacks.  Here's Jeremiah trying some of the snacks.

Our next, and possibly Mateo's favorite stop, was the Kids area.  He got to play a little but mostly spent time viewing some COSI animals.  I love how intense he was focusing.  Too bad I didn't get a shot of him plowing through people when HE was finished!  :)

Seriously...so excited!  Love this face.

touch the gecko with 1 finger...so he was getting prepared :)

And our last stop for the night was the 3D movie...I don't remember the name of it.  Something about flying dinosaurs.  Quite possibly Jeremiah and I's favorite stop, as we've never been to see a 3D movie.  Mateo enjoyed it too and kept the glasses on for about 20 of the 25 minutes.  He did great!  He sat on Jeremiah's lap and would say "Wow!" whenever the dinosaurs would fly towards him.  I might be prejudice, but he's pretty much the most precious boy I know.
