Anyways...our weekend started off rough. After a safe trip to the house, some successful fixes, Mateo and I were pulling weeds and came across a nest of bees under a weed. Needless to say...they swarmed us and we both ended up with about 10 stings each. Honestly, it was horrible. My poor baby was scared, hurt, and I was stung and shaken up. Fortunately, we have some great friends who let us come over and mend our wounds. And we did get some time to catch up!
After that, the weekend was wonderful as we got to spend a lot of time with family. Saturday we spent the evening with Jeremiah's dad & our nephew Isaiah at a dance. Mateo had so much fun listening to the music, the band, and yes...Mariachis.
Did I mention Mateo's love for the burritos and for a random lady! He would go over to her, lay down his head, pat her for at least a minute. Then he would wave good bye, and head back to her 10 minutes later! Ha ha...not sure what he was thinking or what his obsession was with her, but he sure did love giving her cuddles. By the end of the night...we had one tired crabby boy! I love this picture of him and Jeremiah :)
The rest of our weekend was spent with family. Here are some of the highlights. Jeremiah also got to spend some time with his grandpa and Mateo, which doesn't happen enough! We're so fortunate to have our grandparents to spend time with Mateo.
