It's been birthday month, and rounding out the crew is Mateo @ 6! This boy who made me momma, is still a momma's boy. I wouldn't trade it for the world. He's snuggly, smart, witty, a leader, strong, athletic, observant and kind. Such a good blend of Jeremiah and I (although more his daddy).
Mateo's is thriving in Kindergarten. He's reading and writing and adding/subtracting, experimenting, and growing. He's a daily reminder of why I loved teaching first grade. This is such a fun age. He makes friends where ever he goes. I'm pretty sure his class of 9, all look up to him and want to play with him. He's a lot of fun.
We continue to work on being encouraging, not getting frustrated, and playing on our own. Funny though, none of these are issues when he's not at home! :)
He's our gamer. Mateo has enjoyed his 3DS he got for Christmas, playing Mario on the Wii, and Minecrafting on the Xbox 360. He also loves watching YouTube kids. He could sit for days watching people play video games. He especially loves watching a guy named Stumpy play. Interesting. Mateo also loves sports and being playing with the neighbor kids.
What will year 6 bring!?
