We had fun celebrating him at Grandma and Grandpa Jerger's house with the family. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was the theme. We had fun playing games, hitting a piñata and eating lots of goodies. Mateo is all ninja turtled out! He got TMNT books, pjs, swimsuits, gear, coloring books, a Big Wheel, he also got bats, bases, balls, basketball, and money for a SWING SET!!!
Mateo's actual birthday was spent at Chuck-E-Cheese with his buddy, Noah. We had a great time playing games, chasing Chuck E, eating pizza and picking out some prizes. Sissy stayed home with Noah's sisters and mom while the boys played. Our evening was spent with neighbors and cake. We are so thankful for our neighbors love and support.
This next year should be full of fun and learning as he will begin preschool in the fall. Until then, we are going to enjoy our flexible schedule and hopefully some warmer weather. So thankful that we were chosen to be this guys parents. Even with all of the orneriness that oozes from him, he is such a blessing in so many ways. And one of the best snugglers ever!!! We love you, Mateo.
