Vacation 2014

We took a few of small vacations this year. It was nice to get away, enjoy the sites of Ohio and Virginia, along with enjoy family time. 

Our first small trip was to Cincinnati. Jeremiah had to head that way for work, so the kiddos and I tagged along. It was a quick trip and we had bad storms to deal with on the way home, it overall we had a good time!  Pool, Chuck E Cheese, iKEA, and a high school friend visit. 

Next we headed SE to Virginia Beach, where a high school friend got hitched!  Great excuse to celebrate and get in some beach time. We had a nice time playing on the beach, dancing at the wedding, and then finishing with a trip to a college roommates house near by. 

And we ended the summer with a trip to Glouster Ohio, at Burr Oak Lodge. We had a great time being out in nature and exploring the beauty that is right here in Ohio. Lake and pool time, hiking (although not too much because Mateo thought it was spooky), geocaching, putt putt and playground.
