It's Summer Time!
Mateo and I are enjoying our days with no schedules. We've had so much fun exploring new places and experiencing old things through a 2 year old's eye, instead of a 1 year old's like last year. It's funny how different he experiences things being a year older. It's also been great on the weekends to have some time as a family. Jeremiah's found some awesome new Metro Parks for us to try out and we've enjoyed exploring the trails and different play grounds. A friend of mine also set up a mom's group for Tuesdays, so each Tuesday morning we get together and let the kiddos explore and we get some time to catch up with adults. It's a perfect combination! We've also spent some time back in NW Ohio with family & celebrating Marrissa's graduation from BGSU. Love this time of our lives...
Having a "car wash". I have a feeling this is one of many. Mateo is an AWESOME scrubber!
Exploring new parks!
THE ZOO: One of our most favorite places to visit.
It's especially fun when Jeremiah gets to explore with us!
The WATER park! Well at least that's what we call it. Last year Mateo was pretty timid with all of the water shooting out of the ground, this year....FEARLESS! He loves the spraying water and the waterfall. It's been fun watching him run around and splash in the water.
Look who's becoming Mr. Independent :)
Strawberry Picking/Eating
Brought back memories for me of Grandma C's strawberries and then enjoying strawberry shortcake.
Slate Run Metro Park & Historical Living Farm: So much fun!
Kids enjoying their suckers.
This last picture makes me laugh because these 3 kiddos were so funny! They would say "gobble gobble" but when the turkey would gobble back, they would run/scream/laugh with excitement! It's was so funny to watch.
Looking forward to what the rest of summer brings!
